How did it all begin?

SURFKIN was created by a surf school business owner who experienced firsthand the challenges of running a seasonal surf business. Subscription platforms and rigid costs didn’t align with the realities of the surf industry. Out of this frustration came a solution: a fair, flexible marketplace where providers only pay when they earn. What started as a way to support one school has grown into a platform for the global surf community. We wanted to build a platform where service providers get paid direct through stripe and that the booking platform facilitates the transaction.
